Workspace basics

A workspace is your main container in ChatHQ. Everything you build—assistants, widget, publishable keys—lives inside one workspace.

What's in a workspace

  • Assistants — All AI assistants you create
  • Widget — Embed configuration, allowed domains, appearance
  • Publishable keys — For widget embedding and API access
  • Settings — Security, branding, team, members

Managing your workspace

You typically use one workspace per product or organization. Invite team members from workspace settings and assign roles (Owner, Admin, Member). Use the workspace selector in the sidebar to switch between workspaces.

Note:

Workspace-level settings (e.g. allowed domains, branding) apply to all assistants in that workspace.
